Methodology

The UEAPME SME Fit II project is designed to strengthen our 5 member associations in the four target countries Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Turkey and to provide useful knowledge and information on EU legislation.

Therefore all 30 partners split up into four groups, one for each country. The LEAD PARTNERS of the four groups are CGPME for CNIPMMR (Romania), CONFARTIGIANATO for TESK (Turkey), UNIZO for HOK (Croatia) and WKÖ for NCSC and UPEE (Bulgaria).

All project partners will carry out a wide range of activities in their four groups of the beneficiary countries creating a vast multiplier effect.

The activities planned are:

- writing training tools on key issues of the acquis and translating them into the native languages of the four beneficiary countries
- organizing a train the trainers programme in Brussels on the training tools for staff of our member associations
- scheduling national training seminars for their staff members in the four beneficiary countries
- installing information seminars for enterprises providing “hands-on” knowledge on the training tools
- guaranteeing institution building activities in order to help our member associations to introduce new services to their member
- introducing Social Dialogue through a seminar with representatives of the government and trade unions in the four beneficiary countries

Especially the “young” EU members will share their experiences of accession to the EU while the “old” EU member associations explain how to influence the consultation and decision-making process for SMEs within the EU.
